Abandoned vehicles cleared off Lenin district roads since the start of the year totals 53.
In the Leninsky District, the ongoing process of removing abandoned and disassembled vehicles from the streets is under the supervision of Sergei Kostyunin, the head of the district's urban improvement and road maintenance department. This week, the department conducted vehicle removal operations on Bah, Kosmonavta Komarova, and Snezhnaya streets.
The operations, which are part of a larger city-wide initiative to clean and maintain the streets, resulted in the removal of eight vehicles from the district. Three of these vehicles were towed, and the owners were charged for the towing and storage expenses. Five vehicles were removed by their owners within the given timeframe.
The district administration is responsible for the removal of abandoned vehicles, and upon discovering a disassembled vehicle, a notice is placed on it, requiring it to be moved to a garage or parking lot within ten days. If the requirement is not met, the vehicle is towed to a temporary storage lot located at 3 Business Street in Leninsky District.
Since the beginning of the year, a total of 53 abandoned and disassembled vehicles have been removed from the streets of Leninsky District. The removal operations may continue beyond the current week, as the process is an ongoing one.
Residents of Leninsky District can report the presence of an abandoned and disassembled vehicle by calling 258-52-65. It is important to keep the streets clear to ensure safety and maintain the aesthetic appeal of the district.
