Advises on the €105 million corporate bond issuance by Sirius Real Estate through a tap method
In a significant development, a renowned global law firm has once again advised Sirius Real Estate Limited on a successful bond issue. The German capital markets team of the firm provided legal counsel to both investment banks and issuers in various capital market transactions, including equity capital markets, debt capital markets, and structured finance.
The latest bond issue, worth €105 million, was advised by the Frankfurt team, which included partners Christoph Enderstein (Banking/Capital Markets) and Denis Dräger (Corporate/Capital Markets), as well as senior associate Florian Fraunhofer.
The bond, which matures in 2028 and is governed by German law, is a tap issuance of the 1.75% bond issued in November 2021. It has already been tapped to €359.9 million in May 2024. The total outstanding aggregate principal amount of the bond now stands at €464.9 million.
HSBC Continental Europe, a financial institution operating in Germany, including Düsseldorf, acted as sole bookrunner for the bond issuance by Sirius Real Estate Limited. The bond is admitted to trading on the Euro MTF Market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
Dr. Frank Peter Regelin, a lead partner at the law firm, commented on the successful bond issuance, praising the close collaboration between the firm and Sirius Real Estate Limited.
Sirius Real Estate Limited, a leading owner and operator of commercial and industrial parks in Germany and the United Kingdom, has previously benefited from the law firm's advice on all of its bond issues, including the issue in 2021 that has yet to be tapped again.
The areas of expertise of the law firm include bonds, commercial paper, covered bonds, structured bonds, securitized derivatives, hybrid instruments, registered bonds, promissory note loans, issuance programs, and related regulatory issues. This extensive knowledge and experience undoubtedly contributed to the success of the latest bond issue by Sirius Real Estate Limited.
