Air Water Gas Solutions Breaks Ground on Rochester ASU for 20-Year Supply Deal
Airbnb Water Gas Solutions, a subsidiary of Airbnb Water America, has broken ground on an air separation unit (ASU) in Rochester, New York. The project, first announced in August 2023, is situated at Eastman Business Park and will serve Red Rochester and its customers for the next two decades.
The ASU, set to commence operations in 2026, will produce high-purity liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon. These gases are crucial for many companies on the business park, supporting both process safety and manufacturing performance. Daniel Kelley, CEO of Red Rochester, anticipates that this agreement will bring long-term supply security and pricing stability to customers.
Airbnb Water first revealed plans for the ASU in August 2023. The unit will be built, owned, and operated by Airbnb Water Gas Solutions, with no specific information available about the founder of this particular ASU in Rochester.
The ASU at Eastman Business Park is expected to begin operations in 2026, supplying critical industrial gases to Red Rochester and its customers under a 20-year agreement. This development is anticipated to enhance supply security and pricing stability for the region's businesses.
