Alfa Romeo Recalls 54,000 Vehicles for Faulty Fuel Pump; Volkswagen Unveils ID.Cross EV

Alfa Romeo has recalled 54,000 vehicles due to a faulty fuel pump, while Volkswagen has unveiled the ID.Cross electric crossover at the IAA 2025. The KBA is overseeing the recall, with Stellantis having already addressed 10% of the affected cars in Germany.

The recall, affecting Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio models from 2016 to 2019, is due to issues with the fuel pump in diesel engines with codes DV5, DW10, and DW12. Owners should contact the manufacturer or a contract workshop for details.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen has presented the ID.Cross, a new electric car, at the IAA 2025. This model joins the ID. range, showcasing the brand's commitment to electric vehicles.

The recall affects multiple Stellantis brands, including Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel, and Peugeot, with specific models and production periods listed. The current recall addresses warning logic issues, unlike the previous recall in February 2025, which was due to software problems in the engine control unit.
