Altered transportation routes for trolleybuses and buses are in effect in Tomsk
In the heart of Irkutsk, a significant change is coming for public transport users. The Irkutsk Highway section, from Suvorov Street to Bering Street, will be closed from 9:00 PM on August 8 to 6:00 AM on August 11, as part of a capital repair of the heat main.
During this period, some public transport routes will alter their usual paths. However, fear not, as the closure will not affect trolleybuses and buses numbered 1, 6A, 7, and 11 in their entirety.
For trolleybuses No1 and 7, the temporary route will see them turning onto 1st Labor Street, then proceeding along Novosibirskaya, Sergei Lazo, Bela Kun, Ivan Chernykh streets, and finally reaching OKB.
In a similar vein, bus No6A and bus No11 will take a detour as well. In the direction of School No 53, these buses will move through Klyueva Street, turn around near the building on Irkutsk Highway, 9b, bypassing the "GAI" stop, and then proceed along Suvorov, Sergei Lazo, Bering streets, returning to Irkutsk Highway and then - along their usual route.
It's worth noting that both trolleybus No6A and bus No11 will bypass the "GAI" stop during this temporary route change. Furthermore, the temporary routes for these buses do not include the Irkutsk Highway section from Suvorov Street to Bering Street.
