Antoine Dupont Returns to Training with French Rugby Team
Antoine Dupont, the French rugby star, is set to return to training with the national team. Despite his ongoing knee injury rehabilitation, Dupont will join the squad during the 42+1 sessions at the National Rugby Center in Marcoussis in November. Head coach Fabien Galthié has confirmed his involvement, consulting with Dupont's club.
Dupont, who won the World Rugby Player of the Year award in 2021, will not participate in the France XV matches against South Africa, Fiji, and Australia this November. This decision is part of his continued recovery from a knee injury. However, Dupont's presence at the National Rugby Center will be a boost to the team's morale and preparation.
Uini Atonio, Dupont's teammate at Toulouse, will also be present at the National Rugby Center. Although Atonio will not take part in the training sessions, his presence will provide support to Dupont and the team during this period.
Dupont's return to training, albeit not in match action, signals a positive step in his recovery. His presence at the National Rugby Center in November, along with Atonio's support, will be crucial for the team's preparation ahead of the upcoming international fixtures.
