Deutsche Bank Appoints Michael Diederich as Global Co-Head of Corporate Bank
Michael Diederich, a renowned corporate banking expert in Germany, has been appointed as the Global Co-Head of Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank, effective from October 1st. In this role, Diederich will be based in Frankfurt and will focus on Germany, partnering with David Lynne to lead the division.
Diederich will also become a member of the Group Management Committee and report to Fabrizio Campelli, Management Board Member and Head of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank at Deutsche Bank.
With over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, primarily in corporate and investment banking, Diederich brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. Most recently, he served as Vice Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of FC Bayern München. Before that, he was Spokesman of the Management Board of UniCredit Bank in Germany and was part of the Group Executive Committee of UniCredit S.p.A. in Milan.
Deutsche Bank's ambition to strengthen its position as the primary banking partner for companies in Germany and Europe aligns with Diederich's appointment. His expertise, strong client relationships, and understanding of German industry are expected to contribute significantly to Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank leadership and growth strategy.
