Arnsberg's Karlstraße to Become Dead End, Major Road Changes Coming
Starting late September, significant changes are coming to Arnsberg's road network. Karlstraße, between Schobbostraße and Sister-Aicharda-Straße, will become a dead end, accessible only via Sister-Aicharda-Straße. Meanwhile, the 9th phase of construction around Karlsplatz in Neheim begins next week.
From September 29, Karlstraße will see major changes. It will be closed at the Friedenstraße intersection, turning into a dead end. Access and exit will be via Sister-Aicharda-Straße. This is part of the ongoing renewal of supply and disposal lines in Schobbostraße, between Möhnestraße and Karlstraße. Road construction for new sidewalks and parking strips is already underway.
In October, Karlstraße will be completely closed for necessary work at the intersection of Schobbostraße, Karlstraße, and Friedenstraße. This closure will affect the entire intersection area.
These changes aim to improve Arnsberg's infrastructure. The closure of Karlstraße and the upcoming work at the intersection will cause temporary disruptions. Motorists and residents are advised to plan their routes accordingly.
