Authorities in Perm are on the hunt for a designer to rejuvenate Ostrovsky Street.
In the heart of Perm, they're planning a makeover for Ostrovskogo Street, stretching from Revolution Street to Belinsky Street. The city's on the hunt for a talented designer for this project, with an estimated cost of 37.2 million rubles.
The proposed project is simply titled "Design and survey work for the reconstruction of the automobile road on Ostrovskogo Street from Revolution Street to Belinsky Street".
The revamped road will boast a slick four-lane setup, with two lanes each for those scorching, speedy drives. Pedal pals won't be left out either, as they'll enjoy a two-meter-wide bike lane. The sidewalk will be generously three meters wide, ensuring ample space for strolls. A cutting-edge video surveillance system promises extra security, and the greening area is set to span a whopping 1.5 hectares.
If you're the lucky designer they choose, you'll need to wrangle the project documentation, getting it approved by the state examination no later than July 1, 2026. Assuming a positive nod from the examiner, the final project should be handed over by December 1, 2026.
