Bamberg Youth Office Expands Services in 2024 Annual Report
The Bamberg City Youth Office has published its 2024 annual report, highlighting its role as a central institution for supporting and protecting young people in the region. The office, led by Tobias Kobold, has expanded its services despite increasing demand and case numbers.
The Youth Office introduced a process mentors program, offering consultation and support to young people and families. Key areas of focus included child day care, educational support, youth social work, and preventive measures in youth protection.
The office successfully expanded childcare, creating 550 additional places through 20 new measures. Despite high demand and increasing cases, the office maintained and developed its offers, collaborating with free carriers in youth work, family education, daycare centers, and educational support.
