Binary Network Coin's Price Soars to a Record High, Aims for $1000 Milestone, Maintaining its Edge Above Solana
In the world of cryptocurrency, Binance Coin (BNB) is making headlines as it continues its impressive rally. The popular digital asset has printed a new all-time high (ATH) at $855, surging by an impressive 90% in daily trading volume to more than $3.54 billion.
The surge in BNB's price is driven by unprecedented institutional adoption and corporate interest. Major organisations are increasingly viewing BNB as a strategic asset, marking a shift from its previous status as a mainly retail-traded token.
One such example is WindTree Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company, which has secured additional funding of $520 million and announced plans to acquire up to $700 million worth of BNB. This strategic move signifies the growing importance of BNB in corporate financial infrastructure.
Nano Labs, a Chinese microchip firm, has also shown strong confidence in BNB, acquiring up to 10% of its circulating supply, valued at over $100 million. CEA Industries, another corporation, has announced a $500 million treasury initiative focused solely on accumulating BNB.
These institutional acquisitions of BNB have reached approximately $1.5 billion, indicating the scale of this corporate interest.
The rally is further fueled by significant token burns, which reduce supply and create both psychological bullishness and deflationary pressure on BNB's price. Increased activity from crypto whales, who are accumulating large amounts of BNB for long-term holding, also contributes to the upward price momentum.
Network upgrades, such as the Maxwell upgrade to the BNB Smart Chain, have also played a role in attracting more decentralized platform activity. Binance's move to enable zero gas fees for transferring USDT and USD1 on BNB Chain until July 31, 2025, has boosted usability and trading volume.
As a result, the BNB Smart Chain has logged more than 33.7 million active addresses, a 40% increase from the previous week. The stablecoin transaction volume on BNB Smart Chain has reached $11.17 billion, and the total value locked (TVL) in BSC's DeFi ecosystem has risen 22% over the past 30 days, reaching $10.2 billion.
The BNB Smart Chain also ranks as the second-largest blockchain by transaction volume, recording over 387 million transactions in the past seven days.
Popular analyst Crypto Rand expects the BNB rally to continue further, with immediate targets of $1,000. If the bulls manage to break past this level with strong trading volumes, the next potential upside for Binance Coin (BNB) could be $2,000 and beyond.
