Bitcoin Pre-Sale Surpasses $10 Million to Bolster Bitcoin Development During Favorable Economic Conditions
Bitcoin Hyper, a new Layer-2 solution for the Bitcoin network, is set to launch this quarter. This innovative project aims to address Bitcoin's scalability issues and improve network performance by integrating Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) technology and a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism.
The project's native token, $HYPER, is cross-chain compatible with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The presale price of $HYPER is $0.012745, and it is predicted to reach $0.32 upon launch, indicating potential returns exceeding 2,400%.
Bitcoin Hyper uses a Canonical Bridge to lock BTC on the Bitcoin mainnet and mint wrapped BTC on its Layer 2 network. This allows users to transact off-chain with much higher speeds and lower fees, similar to Solana's high transactional capacity. The network also supports complex smart contracts, DeFi protocols, token issuance, and NFT marketplaces, capabilities that are currently limited on Bitcoin's base layer.
In terms of scalability and on-chain dominance compared to Ethereum, Bitcoin Hyper offers several advantages. It elevates Bitcoin's transaction speed from 7 to potentially thousands, surpassing Ethereum's average transaction speed of around 20. The project also enables ultra-fast smart contract execution and DeFi apps, which Ethereum pioneered but with currently higher costs and slower settlement times.
Final transaction settlement is still secured by Bitcoin’s Layer 1, preserving Bitcoin’s well-established security model while improving throughput through a modular Layer 2 approach. The $HYPER token powers transaction fees, staking, and governance, incentivizing participation and supporting network operations.
As Bitcoin takes up 59.1% of the total crypto market value, the potential of Bitcoin Hyper to be this year's breakout newcomer due to its much-needed Bitcoin Layer-2 solution is significant. The project has already raised over $10.3M since its presale on May 16, 2025.
Moreover, the Fed's potential interest rate cut could make borrowing cheaper, potentially pushing investors toward risk assets like Bitcoin. With Bitcoin's current price tag of $115K and a market cap of $2.29T, the stage seems set for Bitcoin Hyper to make its mark.
