Black Group capital presence fortified by Ateş's representation
Sevgi Ateş has been appointed as the Public Affairs Manager for Energy & Climate, as well as Construction & Urban Development at Schwarz Corporate Affairs, effective January 1, 2025. In this role, she will be based at the Berlin headquarters of the Schwarz Group.
Ates̈'s new role will see her managing public affairs related to energy, climate, construction, and urban development within the Schwarz Group. She will work closely with Robert Schachtschneider, the head of Energy, Climate & Transport, and Silvia Warth, the head of Construction & Urban Development, at Schwarz Corporate Affairs. Ates̈ will report directly to Stefan Giffeler, the head of the Berlin representative office of Schwarz Corporate Affairs.
Prior to this, Ates̈ served as a research assistant in the offices of Members of the German Bundestag Markus Hümpfer and Karamba Diaby. The German Bundestag is the federal parliament of Germany, and Hümpfer and Diaby are members of this esteemed body.
The Schwarz Group is a multinational retail corporation headquartered in Germany, with a strong focus on policy and public affairs matters related to Energy, Climate, Construction & Urban Development. Ates̈'s appointment is a testament to her expertise and experience in these areas.
In her new position, Ates̈ will be working under Stefan Giffeler, who is the head of the Berlin headquarters at Schwarz Corporate Affairs.
