Crypto ETF Approval Odds: Major Altcoins Likely to Secure Funds in 2025
Bloomberg Analysts Predict a 95% Likelihood of ETF Approvals for Litecoin, XRP, and Solana in 2022
In the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrency, it's all about the green. And what's greener than easy access to your favorite coins?Enter Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)! These bad boys allow investors to dive into the crypto market with all the convenience of traditional stocks. And, according to some experts, the top altcoins are looking pretty successful in the 2025 ETF race.
Let's dive right in! The rumor mill has it that Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), and Solana (SOL) have a whopping 95% chance of securing ETF approval this year. Heart eyes for Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT), Hedera (HBAR) and Avalanche (AVAX)? They're not far behind with a 90% chance of making the cut.
Things are a bit murkier for the Sui (SUI) ETF application from Canary Capital, with only a 60% possibility of getting the green light this year. Sorry Tron (TRX) fans, Canary's bid for your fav coin just ain't happening in 2025.
Ethereum (ETH) staking ETFs are also expected to get the nod of approval in 2025, well, that is if regulatory bodies don't find a reason to drop the hammer.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has already blessed the first Bitcoin ETFs back in January 2024, leading to billions of dollars worth of inflows into Bitcoin, the top digital asset by market cap. And with Ethereum ETFs hitting the market last July, it seems Ethereum and its buddies are following suit.
But hey, the crypto market's a wild ride, right? Expect the unexpected! Remember, these predictions are nothing more than educated guesses. The chances can change, and regulatory bodies might just throw a twist into the mix.
