Bus Rerouting on Bierstadter Strasse: A New Route for Public Transportation
In the heart of Wiesbaden, Germany, several bus lines have been affected by temporary detours and changes due to infrastructure works. The following is a summary of the changes for lines 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11, as of mid-August 2025.
Bus Lines 37, 23, 24, N11, and 17 are affected by the closure of Patrickstraße on August 8. This closure causes route changes for these lines.
Line 37 is also impacted by the Gustav-Stresemann-Ring water pipe break affecting several lines including 37 between August 8 and 17. During this period, bus routes are detoured around the affected area. Starting Monday, August 18, a new detour applies on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring (except line 22) toward Berliner Straße: buses including line 37 take a modified route via Wittelsbacherstraße and Wettinerstraße before returning to Gustav-Stresemann-Ring toward Berliner Straße.
Line 17 has no specific current detour updates beyond the Patrickstraße closure mentioned on August 8.
