BVG's Sales and Marketing Department welcomes its new leader: Ineke Paulsen
In a significant move for Berlin's public transportation company, BVG, Ineke Paulsen is set to take up the role of board manager, starting October 1. Paulsen, a seasoned marketing professional, brings a wealth of experience to her new position, having previously held a prominent role at Meta for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Prior to her tenure at Meta, Paulsen gained valuable experience in other industries, working at Procter & Gamble and the former startup Wimdu. During her time at Meta, she developed innovative campaigns for the brands Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, showcasing her ability to create impactful marketing strategies.
Paulsen's appointment at BVG comes as the company aims to win the hearts of their passengers. She intends to focus on further developing the BVG brand and sales with a 'clear strategic focus, entrepreneurial thinking, and team spirit'. Her main focus will be on her team and the passengers, aiming to set new impulses and inspire more people for public transit.
BVG, known for setting standards, especially in the mobility sector, has a history of successful campaigns and sales. Their campaigns are regularly honored with creativity awards, with the BVG employer campaign in 2024 being one of their most recognized achievements. Paulsen's goal is to continue this trend, further elevating BVG's reputation and making a positive impact on the lives of its passengers.
Henrik Falk, CEO of BVG, is confident about Paulsen's appointment. 'Ineke brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to the table,' Falk said. 'I am excited to see how she will drive BVG forward and inspire more people to choose public transit.'
As Paulsen begins her journey with BVG, she describes her new role as 'the absolute dream job'. With her passion for public transit and her proven track record in marketing, she is poised to make a significant impact on the future of BVG.
Paulsen's predecessor, Christine Wolburg, joined the Volkswagen Group in the spring. As BVG moves forward with fresh leadership, it is clear that the company is committed to continued growth and innovation in the public transit sector.
