In the bustling automotive market of Kazakhstan, American automaker Chevrolet has been making waves with its recent "Mutual Pay" campaign. Launched on July 2, this initiative aims to make cars more accessible for Kazakhstanis while maintaining the brand's high quality and reliability standards.

Under this campaign, prices for popular models like the Chevrolet Cobalt, Onix, and Tracker have been reduced. The new prices for these vehicles start from 6,490,000 tenge for the Cobalt, 7,490,000 tenge for the Onix, and 9,990,000 tenge for the Tracker.

Since the beginning of the year, the campaign seems to be paying off, with Chevrolet reporting a total of 11,078 vehicles sold. Among these, a staggering 9,188 were Chevrolet Cobalt models, which have been the best-selling model in Kazakhstan for the last four years (2021-2024).

The success of the Cobalt is not surprising, given that it has remained the best-selling model in Kazakhstan for the last five years (2021-2025), according to Chevrolet's official statistics. In fact, over 170,000 vehicles have been produced by Chevrolet on the Kazakh market since the brand's arrival five years ago.

In May 2025, Chevrolet ranked second in sales volume among car manufacturers in Kazakhstan, with a total of 2,344 vehicles sold. This includes 1,869 units of the Chevrolet Cobalt, which were sold during that month alone.

Chevrolet operates in Kazakhstan under the Kazakh automotive company Allur. The brand's commitment to quality and affordability, as demonstrated by the "Mutual Pay" campaign, seems to be resonating with Kazakhstanis, making Chevrolet a significant player in the Kazakh automotive market.
