It's been announced that mega-metals corporation Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) has teamed up with China Tianchen Engineering Corporation to construct a cutting-edge ferroalloy-gas utilization facility in the heart of Kazakhstan!
As reported on April 30, this innovative 80-megawatt power plant has some serious game-changing potential. Its location within the Smelting Shop Four at the Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant will transform a conventionally wasted by-product into round-the-clock juice. That means we'll be waving goodbye to about 600,000 cubic meters of gas being flared each year, significantly reducing emissions and getting us closer to Kazakhstan's carbon-neutral goals!
