In a recent press release, the Wolfsburger Verkehrs-GmbH (WVG) has announced changes to their bus services due to upcoming road repairs. From September 22 to September 26, 2025, repair work will be conducted on the road between Nordsteimke and Barnstorf, affecting a total area of 12,690 square meters.

During the repair work, the regular services of lines 215 and 225 can run before 7 am and after 6 pm without diversion. However, for trips that fall within these hours, a shuttle bus service will be available for passengers traveling from or to Barnstorf. The shuttle bus will connect Barnstorf and Neindorf with a transfer option at the "Neindorf, Schule" stop.

It's important to note that the "Ringstraße" and "Scharenhop" stops in Barnstorf will not be served during the repair work hours of 7 am to 6 pm. Passengers are advised to transfer to the regular bus lines 215 or 216 at the "Neindorf, Schule" stop if necessary.

Some school trips on lines 215, 225, and 268 will be diverted via the "Gänseweide" and "Waldhof Mitte" stops during the repair work. However, the WVG has not announced any changes in their press release regarding this diversion.

The shuttle bus service will operate during the hours of 7 am to 6 pm. For passengers who need to travel outside these hours, the regular services of lines 215, 225, and 268 will not be affected by the repair work.

The car manufacturing company responsible for the repair work is Volkswagen. The WVG assures passengers that the repair work will not affect the regular service outside of the stated hours.

For those who may be affected by the diverted services, the WVG encourages planning ahead and allowing extra travel time during the repair work period. Passengers are advised to check the WVG's website or contact their customer service for the most up-to-date information.
