CSG, a prominent Czech defense company, is expanding its horizons. The group is eyeing Poland and the Baltic States for a stronger presence, while also launching AviaNera Technologies to delve into the unmanned aerial systems market.
CSG, led by Michal Strnad, is no stranger to growth. It supplies artillery ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and has subsidiaries across the globe, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the US, UK, Italy, Spain, Serbia, and India. Now, it's setting its sights on becoming a significant player in military UAS and advanced weapon systems.
AviaNera Technologies, a new subsidiary, will focus on developing and producing propulsion units for unmanned solutions. The company aims to establish partnerships in the Czech Republic by 2025 for the development and production of military UAS. CSG's expansion plans also include negotiating acquisitions and partnerships in Europe, with Ukraine among the countries under consideration.
CSG's expansion into Poland, the Baltic States, and the unmanned aerial systems market signals its ambition to grow beyond its traditional artillery ammunition business. With AviaNera Technologies leading the charge, CSG is poised to become a significant player in military UAS and advanced weapon systems, further solidifying its position as a leading defense industry player.
