Deepening Partnership: Lenita and XTG bolster ties with El Corte Inglés
Lenita & XTG Expand Presence in El Corte Inglés Stores with Targeted Growth
Lenita and XTG, two popular multi-brand fashion retailers, have announced the continuation of their alliance with El Corte Inglés. Currently, Lenita & XTG boast a combined network of over 700 multi-brand points of sale worldwide, but their presence in El Corte Inglés stores is still expanding.
At the start of 2012, Lenita & XTG was absent from 40 El Corte Inglés centers. However, Lenita aims to increase this number, with a target to be present in 40 El Corte Inglés centers by the end of 2012. Meanwhile, XTG has already expanded its presence, going from 40 to 60 centers within El Corte Inglés stores.
Lenita's financial success is not attributed to its presence in El Corte Inglés stores, but rather to the new openings. Burmen, the company that produces and distributes the Lenita and XTG brands, implemented the franchise system under the name Lenita & XTG in 2008. Since then, Lenita & XTG have opened ten establishments, eight of which are owned stores.
Burmen, the parent company of Lenita & XTG, closed the 2010 financial year with a turnover of six million euros. The company expects to double its turnover in 2012 due to these new openings. Burmen's staff consists of sixty employees, half of whom are store personnel.
Lenita has been present in 16 shopping centers in Spain, the Canary Islands, and Portugal since the beginning of the year. The company is continuing to expand its presence in El Corte Inglés stores across Spain and Portugal. It's important to note that Lenita & XTG's combined network of stores worldwide is over 700, but it does not include the ten new establishments mentioned above.
The alliance between Lenita & XTG and El Corte Inglés promises to bring a wider variety of fashion choices to customers across Spain and Portugal. With the continued expansion of both brands within El Corte Inglés stores, it seems that the fashion industry in these regions is set for an exciting future.
