Dow Inc. Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Misleading Statements
A class action lawsuit has been initiated against Dow Inc. (NYSE: DOW) on behalf of investors who purchased shares between January 30, 2025 and July 23, 2025. The lawsuit alleges that the company made false statements and hid the true impact of macroeconomic and tariff-related challenges on its business and financial health.
Shareholders who suffered losses during the specified period have until October 28, 2025 to request appointment as lead plaintiff in the case. There are no costs or obligations for eligible investors to participate in the lawsuit. The plaintiffs claim that Dow Inc. misled investors about the extent to which macroeconomic and tariff-related issues were affecting its business and financial condition.
The lawsuit, filed in a federal court, seeks to recover damages on behalf of all those affected. It is alleged that Dow Inc.'s false statements artificially inflated the company's stock price, resulting in significant losses for investors when the truth was revealed.
