Dubai is set to embark on a significant trade mission to Angola and Mozambique from April 21-25, as part of the Dubai Global initiative. This mission, which forms part of the Dubai Chamber's New Horizons programme, aims to drive sustainable international growth for Dubai-based companies.

The New Horizons initiative aligns with the Dubai Global programme, which is focused on assisting Dubai companies in exploring new growth opportunities in various international markets. Last year, the Dubai Global programme organised trade missions to eight countries.

The upcoming trade mission will include representatives from various sectors, such as agriculture, construction, electronics, energy, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), IT, maritime, manufacturing, and real estate. The mission's agenda includes bilateral business meetings and networking sessions with leading companies in Angola and Mozambique.

The Dubai Global programme has already facilitated over 2,200 B2B meetings, underscoring its success in creating platforms for business connections, knowledge exchange, and market expansion. The mission to Angola and Mozambique is expected to further reinforce Dubai Chamber's commitment to positioning Dubai businesses on the global stage.

The trade mission is also aimed at facilitating trade and investment opportunities between Dubai and these African markets. It encourages business partnerships and joint ventures across key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and commerce. Moreover, it promotes knowledge sharing and capacity building to support sustainable economic growth in these regions.

The mission also seeks to expand Dubai's role as a regional hub linking African markets with global investors. By doing so, it aims to strengthen trade ties and explore partnerships for Dubai-based companies, thereby solidifying Dubai's position as a global business hub.

A virtual pre-mission briefing was held for the delegation, ensuring they are well-prepared for the upcoming meetings and networking sessions. The Dubai Chamber continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting local businesses in their quest for global expansion.

For more precise and detailed goals and objectives of the New Horizons initiative in Angola and Mozambique, it would be necessary to refer to an official Dubai Chamber communication or announcement specifically about the New Horizons initiative.

The Dubai Global initiative, aligned with the New Horizons programme, aims to extend Dubai-based businesses into new markets like Angola and Mozambique, fostering growth in sectors such as finance, trade, agriculture, construction, electronics, energy, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), IT, maritime, manufacturing, and real estate. This mission intends to facilitate partnerships and joint ventures, as well as knowledge sharing and capacity building, to stimulate sustainable economic growth in these African markets.
