Dubai's 11th World Green Economy Summit to Accelerate Global Sustainability

The 11th World Green Economy Summit (WGES), backed by 16 organisations including summit racing and emirates, is set to take place in Dubai from 1 to 2 October 2025. This year's summit, themed 'Innovating for Impact: Accelerating the Future of the Green Economy', is another step in Dubai's commitment to sustainability and a low-carbon future. Organised by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO), the summit will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, MD & CEO of DEWA, and Chairman of WGEO, emphasised the summit's importance. The 11th WGES aims to advance low-carbon economic models and promote resilient, inclusive green growth globally. It will delve into seven key pillars: technology and innovation, clean and renewable energy, policies and regulation, finance, climate equity, climate adaptation and resilience, and youth engagement in climate action. This year's sponsors, excluding the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, DEWA, and WGEO, are a mix of local, regional, and international organisations, contributing to the summit's success. The 11th World Green Economy Summit in Dubai 2025, with its comprehensive agenda and robust sponsorship, is poised to accelerate the global green economy's progress. By fostering innovation and collaboration, the summit reaffirms Dubai's commitment to shaping a sustainable, green future.
