Heads Up, Pensioners! 🎉📅

Here's some fantastic news for our senior citizens! Due to the upcoming long May holidays, early pension payments in Russia for May 2025 have been adjusted. payments that usually fall between the 1st and 5th of May will be credited either on April 29 or April 30. If pensioners don't receive their payments by these dates, they can expect the funds to arrive between May 5 and May 7.

But don't fret if you're receiving payments from April 6 onwards, as the standard schedule will resume for you after May 12, 2025.

And here's something extra for our post office pension recipients: May payments will start on May 3, and you can collect them either at home or at the post office. 📮

On a related note, during a speech in the State Duma on March 26, Chairman of the Russian Government, Mikhail Mishustin, announced that Russia would switch to a two-stage indexing of insurance pensions starting from 2026.

In 2025, Russian pensions saw an increase of 7.3%, with an average amount of almost 24,000 rubles. Due to inflation being higher than expected, President Vladimir Putin ordered the government at the beginning of the year to index payments based on the actual 2024 inflation rate - 9.5%.
