Ekaterinburg's budget received a 1 billion ruble boost, thanks to the KRT program.

A five-year-old program receives wide acclaim among construction companies, aiming to displace residents from deteriorating residential areas and instead focus on revitalizing municipal structures in Yekaterinburg's Business District.

In Yekaterinburg, a significant push towards urban development is underway, with over 1 billion rubles attracted to the city's budget through auctions. This funding will be utilised for the development of Yekaterinburg, its social infrastructure, and other pressing issues.

This development drive sees builders and municipal authorities working together under the KRT mechanism to update the housing stock, resettle residents from dilapidated buildings, and develop social and engineering infrastructure. Three new sites are slated for the construction of residential complexes, replacing dilapidated houses.

The KRT program has proven to be instrumental in resolving issues related to dilapidated housing and unfinished projects, including problematic social facilities such as D.K. Khimmas. As of now, it is being considered to include D.K. Khimmas in the KRT project, but the specifics of this project are yet to be finalised and will be revealed in September.

The unfinished project near the "Park-House" shopping center, a residential building with a children's educational institution for 100 children, has already been included in the KRT program and will be transferred to the city free of charge.

Additionally, the KRT program now includes four- and five-story buildings on Maykopskaya Street and Podgornaya Street. The mechanism for comprehensive development of territories in the Sverdlovsk region has been in place since 2021.

Ruslan Gabdrahmantsev, the Director of the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning, and Land Relations of the Administration, recently discussed the interim results of the Comprehensive Development Program (KRT) for Yekaterinburg. A kindergarten for 225 children will be built on Mусорского Street, replacing an existing object.

As we move forward, the focus will likely be on integrating these projects within the comprehensive framework for streamlining urban growth, infrastructure improvement, and construction regulation enforcement. The current status, as of September 2022, is likely a review or update to incorporate unfinished projects like D.K. Khimmas into the municipal development plan to ensure coordinated completion or redevelopment.

For exact details about the KRT and the D.K. Khimmas project as of September 2022, one would need to refer to official Yekaterinburg city planning documents, municipal announcements, or local news reports from that period.
