Havin' a Blast in Yekaterinburg with Ural Federal University's Campus Expansion!

Construction work's in full swing on phase two of Ural Federal University's (UrFU) campus, with the Institute of Radioelectronics and Information Technology (IRIT-URFU), the Institute of Economics and Management (IEM), and the Specialized Educational and Scientific Center (SESC) all making solid progress. The buildings have reached an impressive 85% completion for their external facades, with internal finishing, engineering systems, and low-voltage networks now getting installed. All structures have fully operational elevators and lifts too.

Landscaping and engineering networks for power and lighting are being set up on the nearby grounds. In the summer, tech and scientific equipment, along with some sweet furniture, will be rolled out. Things are movin' right along in this active phase!

The roof and structural work are nearing completion, and almost all the lifts and elevators have been put in place. Timur Ufimtsev, General Director of "Sinarа-Dеvеlоpment", shared his excitement by saying, "We're smack dab in the heart of construction, and we're making steady progress towards our goal - creating a state-of-the-art educational environment that the Urals can take pride in."

The campus's first phase was unveiled earlier, covering 250,000 square meters and offering accommodations for 8,500 students, an academic building, a medical center, sports facilities, and top-notch infrastructure. The Public Law Company "Single Customer in the Construction Sector" is footing the bill for the second phase.

By 2030, our great nation's gonna see 25 shiny new campuses, all funded by the government and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, backed by the "Youth and Children" national project. By 2036, the campus clan will expand to 40 knowledge hubs across the land, uniting students, educators, and scientists in Moscow and various other regions, like Zabaykalsky Krai, Kamchatka, Primorye, Sverdlovsk, Murmansk, Smolensk, and Buryatia.

Oh, and by the way, according to the latest reports, no plans for a second-phase construction or a 2025 completion date for the Ural Federal University campus expansion in Yekaterinburg have been announced by official sources or the university itself, so don't go spreading any rumors!

During the construction process of Ural Federal University's (UrFU) second phase, there will be opportunities for investing in real-estate, as the campus expansion includes buildings for the Institute of Radioelectronics and Information Technology (IRIT-URFU), the Institute of Economics and Management (IEM), and the Specialized Educational and Scientific Center (SESC). With the planned installation of tech and scientific equipment in the summer, this expanding campus could also present opportunities in finance, contributing to the growth of the education sector in the region.
