Empowering Diversity and Inclusion in Business Startups: Highlights from AfroTech 2018

In an exciting turn of events, Enterprise is set to sponsor the AfroTech conference for the third consecutive year. This Silicon Valley event, one of the largest Black Tech Conferences, aims to educate and mentor current and future sellers.

This year, the partnership promises to be even more noteworthy as Enterprise collaborates with designer Douriean Fletcher, known for her stunning jewelry pieces that reflect the unique brilliance and audacity of visionaries and changemakers. Fletcher's designs have graced shows such as NCIS: New Orleans, The Voice, Roots, and TLC's Beauty Masters, and her work includes the jewelry worn in Marvel's Black Panther movie.

At the AfroTech installation, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase Fletcher's limited-edition jewelry pieces from her Marvel Black Panther Collection. The collection also features illustrations by Sanford Greene, who will be attending the show to meet attendees and sign advanced copies of the limited-edition comic book.

The comic in question is the exclusive variant of Bitter Root #1, a collaboration between Enterprise and MyComicShop. This limited-edition variant will be available for purchase online on Enterprise's website beginning November 14, with the exclusive variant and standard cover copies available only at Enterprise's booth.

The comic features illustrations by Sanford Greene and includes other past works by David Walker and Chuck Brown. For those interested in the online version, the price is $5.99 with free U.S. shipping.

In addition to the comic, Enterprise's booth will offer a variety of items for sale, including Black Panther Claw and Killmonger Gold Claw necklaces, Black Panther claw ring, Killmonger, Black Panther claw and Black Panther mask bracelets. Fletcher will also sell distinct, limited release jewelry pieces from her Marvel Black Panther Collection at the AfroTech event and her new Enterprise store.

This is the second time Enterprise has partnered with a specific individual (Sanford Greene and now Douriean Fletcher), following the sell-out of his exclusive variant cover of Black Panther #1. It's clear that Enterprise continues to support and showcase the work of visionaries and changemakers in the industry.
