Enapter AG Secures Major Orders for AEM Nexus 500 Electrolyser
Enapter AG, a leading manufacturer of highly efficient and affordable Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysers, has secured significant orders for its AEM Nexus 500 electrolyser. These orders come from prominent research institutions for two major renewable energy projects: 'Energy Lab' in Europe and 'Clean Hydrogen Hub' in Canada.
Energy Lab, Europe's largest renewable energy research project, has placed an order with Enapter AG for an AEM Nexus 500 electrolyser. This CAD 10 million project is supported by the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada. The electrolyser, with a capacity of 500 kW, will produce green hydrogen for various test scenarios and pilot plants at Energy Lab.
In Canada, Simon Fraser University (SFU) has also ordered an AEM Nexus 500 electrolyser from Enapter AG for the 'Clean Hydrogen Hub' research project. This project aims to produce hydrogen for industrial companies and researchers, raise public awareness about hydrogen, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in British Columbia. Both projects are funded by their respective governments, with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) supporting Energy Lab.
Enapter AG's CEO, Jürgen Laakmann, expressed confidence in the company's electrolysers, stating they meet the highest quality standards and cater to diverse customer requirements worldwide. These significant orders demonstrate Enapter AG's commitment to driving the global transition to clean, sustainable energy.
