Enhanced Security Measures in Dubai during Eid Al Adha: 515 Patrols, 2 Helicopters, 130 Civil Defense Vehicles Deployed
Dubai is all set to ensure a joyful and secure Eid Al Adha experience for its residents and visitors alike. Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Head honcho of the Dubai Event Security Committee, has announced a meticulous security and transportation plan to guarantee a smooth holiday.
Here's what you need to know about the Dubai Eid Al Adha security plan:
Fireproof Celebrations
The security plan prioritizes safety, with over 515 security patrols keeping an eye on different areas to maintain order and safety. You can expect 130 civil defense vehicles to be on standby, ready to respond to emergencies. Don't be surprised to spot 34 marine security boats cruising the waters, ensuring everyone's safety!
A Helicopter's Eye View
With two helicopters standing by, the skies will be monitored, ready to offer aerial assistance if needed. 139 ambulance points will be operational, offering swift medical aid. Safety-conscious Dubai has also set up 5 rescue boats, 2 ambulatory boats, and 62 ambulatory stations to ensure rapid emergency response!
Smooth Sailing
Transportation won't be a problem this Eid, with 104 trains, 16,981 luxury limousine vehicles, 13,867 taxis, and 1,240 public buses at your disposal. If you prefer waterways, 43 marine transport vehicles will help facilitate your movement. Four traffic diversion units and seven traffic management centers will be working tirelessly to prevent traffic snarls!
Out-of-the-Box Safety Measures
The Dubai Event Security Committee has thought of everything, setting up 21 land rescue patrols for emergencies and special units trained in handling dangerous materials (CBRN responders) who will be ready when needed.
Road Safety is a Must
Dubai police have strongly urged everyone to adhere to road speed limits and avoid driving recklessly, emphasizing the importance of this to prevent accidents and their tragic consequences.
Don't forget to be extra vigilant when enjoying the beaches, keeping a close eye on children, and exercising caution while driving ATVs or bikes in desert areas.
A Word about Fireworks
Eid Al Adha is a time of joy and celebration, but the Dubai Event Security Committee urges everyone to prioritize safety. Therefore, children should not be allowed to play with fireworks due to their potential dangers, which can lead to injuries, burns, and disfigurements. Additionally, fireworks can easily start fires, posing risks to people and property, and causing significant environmental damage.
This Eid Al Adha, let's celebrate with care and ensure that the memories we create are filled with joy rather than regret. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, appreciate Dubai's dedicated efforts, and most importantly, stay safe!
