  1. Reduced Travel Times: The goal is to cut the travel time between Munich and Prague to around 3 hours, making the route more competitive with road and air travel.
  2. Infrastructure Upgrades: Extensive modernisation of rail infrastructure on both sides is on the agenda. This includes track renewals and realignments, improvements in signaling systems, and station upgrades.
