Ensuring Harmony: The Commission has initiated several measures to align the Community's energy policy with the common agricultural policy, maintaining consistency across both sectors.
In Duisburg-Kaßlerfeld, a significant construction project is set to commence on Ruhrorter Straße starting from September 25, 2021. The project, as yet unspecified regarding the responsible authority, will involve track construction works.
To navigate through the area during the construction, a detour will be signposted. Motorists will be directed via Straße Auf der Höhe, Schifferstraße, Max-Peters-Straße, and Ruhrdeich. A mobile traffic light system will regulate traffic at the intersection of Ruhrdeich and Max-Peters-Straße.
Initially, the route will be closed in the direction of Kaßlerfelder Kreisel. In the first phase of construction, one direction of traffic will be closed in the area between Albertstraße and Auf der Höhe / Kaßlerfelder Straße. However, pedestrians and cyclists will be able to pass through the area unhindered during the track construction works.
The project is expected to span across two phases. In the second phase, the opposite direction will be closed from Albertstraße. Interestingly, the same detour will be signposted during the second phase of construction.
By the end of October, the construction works are expected to be completed, reinstating normal traffic flow on Ruhrorter Straße in Duisburg-Kaßlerfeld. The community is advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow the detour signs for a smooth commute.
