Entrepreneur Fined €1,125 for Labour Law Violations in Berlin Construction Case
An entrepreneur from Woltersdorf has been fined by the Local Court of Frankfurt (Oder) for labour law violations. The entrepreneur failed to pay social security contributions and incorrectly reported workers. The entrepreneur employed three workers on a minor scale at a construction site in Berlin. However, they worked more hours than permitted for such employment. The entrepreneur did not report these workers correctly or at all to social security, and failed to pay the required contributions, amounting to over 4,900 EUR. The Local Court fined the entrepreneur 75 daily rates of 15 EUR each for withholding and misappropriation of wages. This penalty totals 1,125 EUR. The entrepreneur's actions resulted in a significant fine. The court's decision serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to labour laws and social security regulations.
