Essen Offers 15 Monthly Stipends for Young Association Engagees
Essen residents aged 18 to 27, actively involved in local associations, can apply for the 'Honorary Stipendium for Young Engaged Individuals'. The city portal offers 15 stipends, each providing 150 euros monthly for a year. Applications close on 31 October 2025.
Applicants cannot already receive other funding, such as the Deutschlandstipendium. They can find more information and apply via www.our website/ehrenamtsstipendium. Recipients can network with each other and maintain contact with the Citizen Participation and Volunteer Affairs department.
The Kulturförderung Kanton Thurgau, with contact person Martina Keller ([email protected], 058 345 73 72), supports the initiative. In Essen, contact persons are Jakob Schloß ([email protected] website, 0201 88-88816) and Christine Meyer ([email protected] website, 0201 88-88821).
