Eurizon makes entrance into the ETF sector with debut of Sicav product line.

Eurizon, the asset management arm of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has made a significant move in the financial market by launching a new ETF range called YourIndex Sicav. This strategic expansion represents a broadening of their footprint in both ETF and traditional fund offerings [1][3].

The YourIndex Sicav range is a hybrid product that combines the benefits of ETFs and traditional investment funds. It uses quantitative models and discretionary insights to pursue outperformance relative to benchmarks, while integrating ESG criteria directly into the investment process [1][3].

Eurizon's strategy with the YourIndex Sicav is not to replace traditional funds but to complement active and passive management. The offering supports portfolio diversification and fits within Eurizon’s broader asset management solutions, including unit-linked and fund-of-funds structures [1].

The equity tranche of the YourIndex Sicav was launched on May 23, with the ETF share classes hitting the market on June 18. The bond fund rollout for the YourIndex Sicav began on June 6 and will continue in phases [1]. The product range includes a mix of strategies tracking major equity and bond markets, designed for flexibility in accessing specific markets with a cost-efficient structure [1][3].

The YourIndex Sicav is managed by Eurizon Capital SA, Eurizon's Luxembourg-based subsidiary. It offers both listed UCITS ETFs and non-listed fund share classes, enhancing accessibility for different investor types [1][3].

Massimo Mazzini, deputy general manager, marketing and business development at Eurizon, stated that the new range of ETFs and passive funds offer flexibility in accessing specific markets with cost advantages [1]. These offerings are targeted towards retail and institutional investors.

Eurizon SLJ Capital, a division of Eurizon Capital SA, has also launched an EM bond ETF in London [1]. The new ETFs and passive funds from Eurizon are considered optimal solutions as components of asset management, unit-linked, and funds-of-funds schemes where active asset allocation management is the main component of value creation for clients [1].

In summary, Eurizon's YourIndex Sicav line exemplifies a hybrid approach that marries the liquidity and transparency of ETFs with the analytical rigor and customization of traditional funds. This expansion is strategic, complementing rather than replacing Eurizon's established active management offerings. The new range emphasizes strong product innovation in response to client needs, offering innovative, diversified, and ESG-integrated solutions.

The YourIndex Sicav range, managed by Eurizon Capital SA, is an innovative hybrid product that combines the benefits of ETFs and traditional investment funds, aiming to outperform benchmarks by using quantitative models and discretionary insights in its asset management strategy. These new offerings, which include both listed UCITS ETFs and non-listed fund share classes, are optimal solutions for asset management, unit-linked, and funds-of-funds schemes within finance.
