European Financial Recognition 2025: Notable European Asset Management Companies Contending for the Yearly Title

The Funds Europe Awards 2025, celebrating the best asset managers across the European region, have announced their shortlist. The awards, set to take place on Thursday 20 November 2025 at the London Hilton Bankside, will recognise excellence in the asset management industry.

The size categories for this year's Awards are: up to €100bn, between €100bn-€1trn, and over €1trn globally. In the €100bn-€1trn category, AnimaBNP Paribas Asset Management, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, Eurizon Capital SGR, GQG Partners, Janus Henderson, and RBC BlueBay Asset Management are shortlisted for the European Asset Management Firm of the Year. Meanwhile, Amundi, DWS, Invesco, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and UBS Asset Management are shortlisted for the European Asset Management Firm of the Year (€1 trillion+ global AUM).

On the other hand, the up to €100 billion category sees 21 Shares, iM Global Partner, KBC Asset Management, Marsham Investment Management, Mediolanum International Funds Limited, Mirova, Muzinich & Co, and Polar Capital vying for the European Asset Management Firm of the Year.

The Awards will also facilitate recognition of more focused or specialist providers. Examples of specialist providers include those providing exposure to underlying crypto assets or investing in themes around technology and AI.

While the shortlisted firms for the Awards have been announced, the winners in each category are yet to be decided. The results of the Awards will be eagerly awaited by the asset management industry.
