In a private and exclusive event, Ford GT enthusiasts recently gathered at the Marconi Automotive Museum for the Ford GT II event, organised by William Laporte and Michael Dirr. The event, which appears to be a niche or private gathering, showcased all three generations of Ford's iconic GT, attracting a select group of car aficionados.

The event was graced by three stunning cars, each representing a different era of the Ford GT. Salvador Meza owned the red car in the trio, equipped with a Heffner twin-turbo setup, KW coilovers with a lift kit, and HRE three-piece wheels. Bill Nelson owned the white second-generation GT, while Sebastian Lefarja owned the black first-generation GT. David Miyasako owned the Gulf-liveried GT40, a nod to the oil company Gulf's backing of the JW Automotive Engineering GT team in the late 1960s, including for the '68 and '69 Le Mans 24-hour race wins.

Ruffian Cars also brought out their 1964 Galaxie 500 and 1967 FIA Mustang Ford project cars to the event. The Ruffian GT40, owned and built by Chris Ashton, was a standout with its custom carbon-fiber-infused body, wild 3D-printed headlights, wide Signature Three centerlock wheels, and Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Natan Davoodi, the Lemon Guru from LemonGuru.com, brought a Holman Moody GT Mk II to the event, which is still built to Le Mans race-ready condition today.

The main show area featured two special three-car sections, one with a red, white, and blue selection of first-generation GTs. Boden Autohaus updated its first-generation GT with a muted green wrap from Inozetek, KW V3 coilovers, HRE 511 wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber. Miyasako's Superformance replica, with a Roush 7.0-liter engine, was a throwback to the Ford V-8 that came in those Holman Moody and Shelby-American race cars from the mid 1960s.

Organisers Laporte and Dirr plan to hold the Ford GT II event every year, and interested GT owners or high-end classic or new car enthusiasts can reach them through their Instagram.
