Fabletics Expands with 24 New Retail Outlets in 2023
Fabletics Expands Retail Presence with 24 New Stores in 2021
Fabletics, the popular activewear brand, is set to expand its retail footprint this year with 24 new locations across the United States. The new stores will be located in various states, including Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Oregon; two in Texas; and three each in California and Virginia.
The company's expansion plans also include more interactive tools within these stores. While specific details about these new features aren't available, Fabletics has a history of innovative retail activations, such as video installations and touchscreen technology. In fact, some stores will feature a collaboration with at-home rowing machine Hydrow, transforming them into "fitness boutiques."
Customers and brand ambassadors will be able to share their experiences at these stores on social media, further enhancing the interactive nature of the retail experience. The first of these new stores opened this month at the Mall of America in Minnesota.
Sales associates in these stores will offer in-store demos and provide members with unique perks, such as members-only pricing and early access to new products. Fabletics' VIP members, who sign up for the company's membership program, receive lower prices. Members are automatically charged $50 a month, but have the option to skip a month.
It's worth noting that while there have been some complaints about the process of canceling the membership being cumbersome, Fabletics now allows members to cancel their membership online. The Fabletics FIT app, which offers on-demand fitness content, is free for members and $14.95 each month for non-members.
Fabletics' brick-and-mortar expansion is less ambitious than its 2018 announcement that its fleet would grow to 100 locations. The company first unveiled its expansion plans in 2016.
For precise details on Fabletics' retail expansion in 2021, consulting the company's 2021 announcements or customer service documentation would be necessary.
