Lombard Odier Appoints Thomas Morley as UK Chief Operating Officer
Thomas Morley has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Lombard Odier (Europe) SA's UK business, effective from August 2025. Based in London, Morley reports directly to Mark Goddard, the Chief Executive Officer of Lombard Odier UK.
In his new role, Morley will oversee and strengthen the internal operations of Lombard Odier’s UK business. He will work closely with the executive team to ensure that operational processes align with the firm’s long-term growth strategy in the UK, during a period of significant expansion.
Morley brings over 18 years of operational leadership experience in the wealth management sector to his new position. He began his career at UBS Wealth Management, where he held roles such as deputy head of Jersey operations and executive director. In London, he served as the head of investment bank EMEA & wealth management client onboarding.
After his tenure at UBS Wealth Management, Morley served as a director in Ernst & Young’s wealth and asset management division. He later joined Sarasin & Partners, where he rose to the position of deputy Chief Operating Officer. During his time at Sarasin & Partners, Morley managed multiple teams and the firm-wide change agenda.
Morley's extensive background equips him with sharp operational acumen, making him well-placed to steer Lombard Odier UK through its next phase and enhance client service delivery.
