Five Russian Giants Sign Deal for Closed-Loop Eco-Production
Five major Russian companies have signed an agreement to develop and implement closed-loop ecological production cycles. This initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable development, was announced at the International Forum 'BioProm'.
The agreement focuses on the use of recycled aluminum in production, which is fully recyclable and reduces costs while optimizing resource consumption. The Samara Metallurgical Plant, a leading Russian producer of aluminum strip, has incorporated secondary raw materials into its process, with recycled aluminum making up over 40% of its production. This meets current challenges and strengthens the plant's market position.
The companies aim to jointly promote technologies for more efficient use of eco-friendly raw materials. As a result of this cooperation, a new line of lemonades packaged in aluminum cans made entirely from recycled materials was presented to the public.
The use of recycled aluminum in production not only supports modern environmental standards but also reduces costs and optimizes resource consumption. The agreement signed by the five companies demonstrates their commitment to sustainable development and the promotion of eco-friendly technologies.
