Franklin Templeton Bolsters Investment-Grade Credit Team by Year-End
Franklin Templeton is set to welcome a new investment-grade credit team, led by Josh Lohmeier, by the end of 2021. The team, transferring from Aviva Investors, is expected to bolster Franklin Templeton's portfolio. Meanwhile, Tom Meyers is joining Franklin Templeton, with both Lohmeier and Meyers reporting to chief investment officer Sonal Desai.
The acquisition of the American investment-grade credit team from Aviva Investors is expected to strengthen Franklin Templeton's investment capabilities. Josh Lohmeier, who will continue to lead the team, is joined by Michael Cho in the move. While details about Tom Meyers are scarce, his addition to the team is expected to further enhance Franklin Templeton's investment strategies.
The team's integration is planned for the latter part of 2021, with all members reporting to Sonal Desai, Franklin Templeton's chief investment officer.
