Germany and Austria's regional head, Andreas Dinges, will relinquish his position.

In a surprising turn of events, Andreas Dinges, the current CEO of DIS AG in Germany, has announced his decision to step down from his position by the end of June, 2015, due to personal reasons.

Dinges joined the company in 2006 and rose through the ranks to become the Regional Head of Germany & Austria and a member of the Executive Committee in 2009. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in strengthening the company's position in Germany, leading to a significant gain in market share and maintaining the leading profitability amongst its peers since 2011.

Under Dinges' leadership, the company has also seen operational improvements, with streamlined processes that have boosted its market position. This leadership has not gone unnoticed, as Dinges has been on the top of the Great Place to Work ® list every year since 2011.

Despite his departure, Dinges will remain in his current position for the coming months to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. The search for a successor has already begun, and an announcement will be made once the selection process has been completed.
