Candy POP Doubles Down on Hershey Partnership in the Baltics

In a significant move for the confectionery industry, Lithuanian company Candy POP has partnered with SRG International, the authorized European distributor of The Hershey Company, to bring Hershey's iconic chocolate products to the Baltic States.

Candy POP, a company that operates 34 specialized retail stores across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland, focusing on sweets, snacks, and beverages primarily sourced from the USA and other global markets, has seen impressive growth. In 2024, their consolidated revenue reached €22 million, reflecting a strong market presence.

After about a year of negotiations and evaluation by SRG International, Candy POP was selected as Hershey's official distributor for the Baltic States. This collaboration enhances Candy POP’s wholesale network and strengthens their relationships with key regional retailers.

Hershey, a dominant player in the US chocolate market with over 90 brands, aims to rapidly expand its market share in the Baltics—countries with increasing demand for international confectionery brands. By leveraging Candy POP’s expertise and retail network, this partnership presents an exciting opportunity for both companies.

Besides Hershey, Candy POP also represents Ferrara Group in the Baltics, offering brands such as Nerds and Laffy Taffy. This collaboration provides operational synergies and cross-selling opportunities, further bolstering Candy POP’s position in the market.

Successfully doubling Hershey product sales within the next two years would significantly increase Candy POP’s revenue contribution and enhance the Baltics' importance in Hershey’s global supply chain. The move reflects a broader industry trend of local distributors partnering to elevate global brands in emerging or growing markets.

As Candy POP continues to strengthen its portfolio and distribution network, operating across both wholesale and retail channels, the company's ambitious plans for the future are a testament to its commitment to bringing the best global sweets and snacks to consumers across the region.
