GMC 2023 Concludes With 76% More Exhibitors, 8,000 Professionals, and Global Focus
The Global Mobility Call (GMC) 2023, held at IFEMA MADRID, has concluded successfully. This year's edition saw a significant increase in exhibiting companies, with a 76% rise from 2022. The event served as a hub for sustainable mobility and road safety, attracting over 8,000 professionals from 37 countries.
GMC 2023 provided a platform for exchange between public and private sectors, with support from the Ministry of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda, the Community of Madrid, and the City of Madrid. A total of 104 entities participated in the event.
The GMC Congress brought together leading experts to discuss themes such as electrification, multimodality, new infrastructures, innovation, digitalization, and new technologies. The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, officially closed the event, highlighting its significance and the city's role in sustainable mobility.
GMC 2023 was organized by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, attracting approximately 10,000 viewers through live streaming and the digital platform Live Connect. Over 500 speakers, with 40% being international, participated in 120 sector-specific panels and conferences.
GMC 2023 has established itself as a primary platform for discussions and strategy formulation in sustainable mobility worldwide. A report compiling discussions and presentations from the event will be published. The third edition of GMC is scheduled for November 2024 at the IFEMA MADRID Exhibition Centre, with cities from around the world expected to participate.
