Government Confirms Continued Collaboration with NASSI for Small Business Expansion via Commerce Commissioner's Affirmation in Kogi
In a significant move to strengthen and scale up the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Kogi State, the Nigeria Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI) has expressed their readiness to work in strategic alliance with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

Notable among these investors are Beebeejump International Ltd, a Chinese international agency, and the Women in Agriculture Cooperative Federation Limited (WAICF). These investors are collaborating on projects like deploying solar power systems in rural communities and solar-powered irrigation across 10,000 hectares of farmland. The investors are providing 60% of the funding, with the government covering the remainder.
NASSI commended the government for this proactive approach and pledged to complement and strengthen these efforts in translating policies into tangible outcomes for the people of Kogi State. The visit reaffirmed the shared vision of the Ododo-led administration and NASSI to accelerate industrial growth and empower entrepreneurs across Kogi State.
The Ministry of Commerce & Industry will also facilitate access to finance, technology, and markets for MSMEs in Kogi State, as part of their strategic alliance with NASSI. This collaboration is expected to help overcome challenges and foster a conducive environment for the growth and success of MSMEs in the state.
