Grant Recipients for Chan Zuckerberg Initiative's 2025 Community Fund Unveiled

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, founded by Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan in 2015, has announced its latest round of grants to support local nonprofit organizations in San Mateo County, California. This year, the Community Fund, which has been operating for nine years, has selected a new cohort of partners to meet urgent needs and create long-term opportunities in the region.

The Community Fund, committed to ensuring its partners have the flexible support needed to continue driving meaningful change in communities, will provide two-year grants of up to $200,000 to the grantees. These organizations focus their efforts on housing, healthcare, education, job and career skills, and other social supports.

Since 2017, the Community Fund has invested more than $34 million in over 200 local organizations. Alma Pulido leads the Community Fund, and its mission aligns with that of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative – to build a better future for everyone.
