Helicopter journeys restarted between Kozyrevsk and Ivaska, both in Kamchatka
In a significant development for transportation in Kamchatka Krai, Russia, the Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise (KAE) has resumed regular helicopter flights connecting the village of Koryak and the settlement of Iva. This decision, made by KAE, follows a directive issued by the governor of Kamchatka Krai after a meeting with Iva residents in May.
The resumption of KAE flights has brought about a significant improvement in transport accessibility for regional residents. The traditional method, which involved a flight from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Ossora with a subsequent helicopter transfer to Iva, has become obsolete. Now, residents have two main routes to the regional capital.
One of the most welcomed changes is the decrease in flight costs. With the start of KAE flights, the cost of the flight from Iva to the regional capital has significantly decreased, from seventeen thousand rubles to seven and a half thousand rubles. This makes the latter route more than twice as much compared to the traditional method.
Residents of Ossora and Iva have expressed positive feedback about the resumption of KAE flights. Egor, a resident of Iva, mentioned that prior to the resumption of KAE flights, residents had to fly through Ossora, where tickets were often unavailable and prior registration was required.
The new, more economical option includes a bus transfer from Petropavlovsk to Koryak and a direct helicopter flight to Iva. Rostislav, a resident of Ossora, noted that booking tickets online for KAE flights is now easier and can be done in just a few minutes by entering necessary data.
In addition to the cost reduction and increased convenience, KAE has also introduced a significant innovation - the possibility of electronic ticket purchase through their official website. This new feature allows for a seamless booking experience, further enhancing the overall travel experience for regional residents.
Moreover, the summer schedule includes an increased frequency of flights, with flights operating weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. This increased frequency provides more options for travel, making it easier for residents to plan their trips.
Kamchatka Krai is known for its remote location and challenging transportation conditions. However, with the resumption of KAE flights, residents now have a more affordable and convenient option for travel to the regional capital. For precise and up-to-date information, it would be advisable to consult local news sources or official government releases.
The resumption of KAE flights has countered the high costs prevalent in the traditional method of transport, as the price for a flight from Iva to the regional capital has been reduced drastically, from seventeen thousand rubles to seven and a half thousand rubles. This brings about a financial relief in the transportation industry for the residents.
With the availability of electronic ticket purchase on KAE's official website, there is a noticeable improvement in the finance and automotive sectors, as residents now enjoy a seamless, online booking experience for their travels.
