Increased Foreign Investment: Dubai International Chamber Welcomes 53 New Companies in Q1 2025, Signaling a Robust Start to the Year

Dubai Witnesses a Notable Surge in Foreign Businesses in Q1 2025

Dubai International Chamber reported a substantial increase in the influx of foreign companies in the first quarter of 2025, underscoring the city's position as a global business hub.

In the three-month period between January and March, the chamber attracted 53 international companies to Dubai, signifying a 39% year-on-year growth. Notably, the new entrants included 11 multinational corporations, more than double the number secured in the same period the previous year, in addition to 42 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which saw a 27% year-on-year rise.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, attributed the surge in interest from both established multinationals and ambitious SMEs to the chamber's global reach and influence. The chamber, part of Dubai Chambers, serves a pivotal role in promoting the city as a prime destination for foreign direct investment. Through its network of international offices, it links overseas businesses with Dubai's strategic advantages, such as its advantageous location and access to regional markets.

The chamber's efforts are aligned with Dubai's broader economic strategy aimed at establishing itself as a global center for trade, innovation, and investment. As part of this strategy, the city offers a competitive business environment, excellent infrastructure, and strategic placement that facilitates access to regional and global markets. The result is a growing international confidence in Dubai's business ecosystem.

The promising trends observed in Q1 2025 could be a harbinger of a prosperous year ahead for Dubai, as it continues to leverage its strategic advantages and attract foreign investors. The chamber's proactive approach to outreach and investment support remains central to shaping the city's global economic appeal.
