India's IndusLaw secures third lateral recruitment this year through hiring lawyers from JSA Disputes
In a significant move, Indian law firm IndusLaw has bolstered its ranks with the hiring of three senior lawyers. Among them is Mayank Mishra, who joins as a partner in the Delhi office.
Mayank Mishra brings with him a wealth of experience in advising Indian and foreign businesses, investors, public sector enterprises, and financial institutions on corporate and commercial litigation issues. Prior to his move to IndusLaw, he was a partner at J Sagar Associates.
The addition of Mishra to IndusLaw's Delhi office increases the firm's capacity to handle complex corporate and commercial litigation matters. This hire marks the fourth lateral move this year for the firm, following the arrivals of Manish Gupta, Rashi Saraf, and Bhavik Parikh.
Gupta, a former partner at Link Legal, has been hired in Delhi, while Saraf, a former partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, has joined the team in Bengaluru. The arrival of these two lawyers further expands IndusLaw's presence across India.
With the addition of Mishra, IndusLaw's Delhi office now boasts a total of 16 partners. Parikh, another senior lawyer who joined alongside Mishra, also strengthens the team in the capital.
The expansion of IndusLaw's partnership team indicates a continued growth strategy for the firm. This strategic hiring is part of the firm's efforts to strengthen its corporate and commercial litigation practice, positioning itself as a leading choice for clients seeking expert advice in this area.
The departure of Mishra from J Sagar Associates was previously announced. His move to IndusLaw is a testament to the firm's growing reputation and its ability to attract top talent in the legal industry.
This series of lateral hires underscores IndusLaw's commitment to providing its clients with the highest level of service and expertise. As the firm continues to grow, it is poised to take on increasingly complex and challenging cases, further solidifying its position in the Indian legal market.
