Intelligent Cabin Demonstrated by CES HCMF Group in Collaboration with Taiwanese Businesses
At this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, global automotive components leader HCMF Group is showcasing a series of innovative intelligent cabin products (Booth 7211). The company, which has established a dedicated electronic control design and development department, is collaborating with several prominent Taiwanese companies and industry giants like Bosch and Continental to push the boundaries of automotive technology.
One of the key features of HCMF's intelligent cabins is the Child Presence Detection (CPD) system, developed in collaboration with TMY Technology Inc. (TMYTEK). The CPD system uses millimeter-wave radar technology and a novel patented algorithm to monitor children inside the vehicle cabin, ensuring their safety. The system is seamlessly integrated with HCMF's panoramic sunroof system, providing a comprehensive safety solution.
The automatic side-door actuator in HCMF's intelligent cabins uses TMYTEK's millimeter-wave radar for foreign object detection, ensuring the safety of all passengers. The complete side-door system features a hidden external handle with facial recognition unlocking, offering a sleek and convenient design.
HCMF Group has integrated high-brightness, clear, and highly transparent Micro LED displays into the rear seat side windows, thanks to partnerships with AUO and LSH Glass. These displays promise to revolutionize in-vehicle entertainment and information systems.
Electronic side mirrors in HCMF's intelligent cabins detect rear-approaching vehicles during door opening to prevent collisions, while the frameless anti-pinch lift system consolidates all door system electronic controls into a single DCU controller, enhancing the overall driving experience.
The CPD system also performs a 360-degree scan of the interior cabin space once the driver locks the vehicle, sending real-time information to the owner's mobile device. This feature, along with the comprehensive intelligent user interface control and wireless charging system developed in collaboration with Inventec, promises to make HCMF's intelligent cabins a smart and convenient choice for modern drivers.
HCMF Group is integrating cutting-edge technologies across various industries into these intelligent cabins. The company's R&D team collaborated with the Taiwan Design Research Institute and National Taiwan University's Smart Living Center for the development of these products.
HCMF Group views CES 2024 as a starting point for technological breakthroughs, promising more surprises in the future of automotive technology. The company is committed to advancing the automotive industry through collaboration and independent R&D, and their showcase at CES 2024 is a testament to their dedication to innovation.
